Rachel Prior-Tsang
​
Rachel Prior-Tsang’s songwriting comes out of her love of poetry, her fiery guitar playing, and her desire to sing the dream. Through singing and soloing in Vancouver Bach Choirs, Universal Gospel Choir and City Soul Choir, ​Rachel started her first band, Vuggy, at age 22, with songs that made the top 10 on CBC radio charts in 2000-2001.
From amps in the sawdust of a garage floor back in the 90s, Rachel's songwriting blossomed in the band LiKEWiSE, in collaborations with Chris Fowles, Craig Zurba, Kemal Evans, Kiki Connelly, Star Trickey, Benedicte Schieotz, David Symons and Rob Turner.

With Alaskan roots, Rachel loves to immerse herself in the wild to write and connect with herself as an artist. In 2022, LiKEWiSE released their debut record, described as "haunting, exquisite, and complex". Rachel was chosen as one of six artists for Mining for Magic masterclass in New Orleans in May 2024 with Brian Seeger and Cindy Scott, to perform her original music in a New Orleans club.
